About
Meet Alex
Hi, I’m Alex. I offer in-home child sitting, art play, and private art lessons for families in Marshfield and across the South Shore.
I’m CPR certified for infants, children, and adults, and I take childcare seriously. When I’m with your children, they have my full attention. I stay off my phone except for emergencies or parent communication, and I focus on creating a safe, calm, and engaging experience.
Art is a big part of what I bring to families. I provide age-appropriate arts and crafts, bring the supplies, and clean up afterward. This fall, I’ll be attending Massasoit Community College to study Visual Arts, with the goal of becoming an elementary art teacher.
Whether you need a sitter for a few hours, a creative activity for your child, or a private art lesson at home, I’d love to help your children feel cared for, confident, and creative.
I look forward to meeting your kids!
A Lifelong Love of Art
I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember. Drawing, painting, and creating have always been a big part of my life, and that love of making is what I bring into each session with children.
I like to bring a variety of age-appropriate art materials and mediums so each session can match the child’s interests, attention span, and comfort level. Some children love drawing. Others want to paint, build, cut, glue, mix colors, or experiment with texture. My goal is to help each child feel engaged, confident, and excited to create.
Whether I’m providing art-based child sitting, a private art lesson, or a small-group creative session, I focus on making art feel fun, flexible, and encouraging, never pressured or overly perfect.
